Ashlie Bryant is the Co-Founder and President of 3Strands Global. As a leading anti-trafficking advocate and educator, she has been dedicated to combating human trafficking for the past six years.
Ashlie has been instrumental in creating a human trafficking education program to educate students in middle school, high school and college. To date, 3Strands Global Break Free Education Program has educated more than 20,000 students about human trafficking. In addition to overseeing the education program and managing the organization’s day-to-day activities, Ashlie’s efforts include keynote speaking, collaborating with other anti-trafficking organizations, training large groups about human trafficking and engaging communities to do something to combat human trafficking.
Ashlie has been a part of multiple coalitions throughout California including Sacramento’s Rescue and Restore Victims of Human Trafficking Coalition and the Bay Area No Traffick Ahead Coalition. She has also worked closely with the San Diego County District Attorney’s Office. In 2013, she was awarded a Resolution by the California State Senate for her hard work and dedication in the fight against human trafficking. In 2015, Ashlie was chosen to participate in Stanford’s Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders.
Ashlie brings extensive professional experience in marketing communications, public relations and relationship management to her nonprofit role. Prior to founding the organization, she held multiple executive marketing and communications positions in Silicon Valley. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and French from University of California, Davis.
