As the director of operations, Carrie Jacobstein, oversees the daily operations of 3Strands Global Foundation. Carrie joined 3Strands Global Foundation in 2012 as a field volunteer for the Folsom Break Free Run. She developed a passion for the cause to combat human trafficking and was quick to jump in to help manage and oversee all aspects of the Folsom, San Diego and Oakland Break Free Runs.
Carrie is an organized and detail-oriented leader skilled at motivating team members to accomplish organizational goals. She has exhibited these skills through managing company offices, running a service based business and planning a variety large-scale events, including the Break Free Runs.
Prior to joining the organization, Carrie was an integral part of her family’s successful, thirty-eight-year-old retail business and an office manager for a well-established mortgage company. During her time in the family business, she implemented new marketing strategies and inventory control systems that substantially increased profits. She also managed and trained new employees to the company’s processes and procedures.
Carrie lives in Northern California with her husband of 19 years, Jeff, and their three children. She enjoys spending time volunteering in her daughter’s musical theater adventures and watching her boy’s play soccer and guitar. During her free time, she enjoys camping, boating and vacationing with her family.
